Jessie Turner (born in San Diego, 1995) is a textile and mixed media artist based in San Francisco. She explores themes of the natural environment, connection, and mysticism in her work. Using found photos, Jessie creates collages, often repeating imagery of hands, rocks, stars, and other natural elements. Using a similar process to collage, Jessie first charts out a tapestry design on either graph paper or digitally, then crochets her tapestries by hand, using the filet crochet technique.
